Samir er et håndknyttet, ensfarvet uldtæppe med naturlig melering, fremstillet ved hjælp af traditionelt håndværk i Marokko. Tæppet fremstilles af håndfarvet uld i nærtone sorte og mørkegrå nuancer, hvilket giver et jævnt, men levende udtryk med subtil variation i overfladen.
Den tætte håndknyttede konstruktion giver god formstabilitet, høj slidstyrke og lang levetid. Uldens naturlige egenskaber bidrager til god akustisk dæmpning, temperaturudjævning og et behageligt taktilt indtryk. Tæppet ældes med patina snarere end slid.
Samir kan specialbestilles og tilpasses efter specifikke krav vedrørende format, proportioner og anvendelsesområde.
